In 2008, Borkit International and SEACOR Environmental Services (SES), a global leader in emergency response solutions established joint venture company SES-Borkit LLP that won a contract to provide Tier 2 oil spill response coverage to Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) in Kazakhstan.
The company established a spill response center in the Caspian coastal city of Aktau, providing onshore, nearshore and offshore response services for TCO’s operations. In 2010 SES obtained 100% controlling interest in SES Borkit LLP.

In 2015, Borkit International and Severn Glocon international OEM, which is principally focused on critical control and choke valves for the oil, gas and power sector have established a partnership creating a new company Borkit SG which was designed to provide broad mechanical services and supply capabilities in O&G industry.
In 2021 share of Borkit was acquired by Severn Group.

In 2008, Borkit International and Premier Oilfield Rentals Ltd, UK formed a joint venture to expand the operations in Kazakhstan.
The company was successfully operating from a purpose-built facility in Aktau, Kazakhstan encompassing the API certified machine shop, office facilities, inspection area, warehouse, and storage yard.
This business was sold in 2013.
